Since we are learning about plants, we decided to take a trip to
our ecogarden for a closer look at the plants we have there. We
were put in groups and went to the different parts of the garden
which we were assigned to, armed with our magnifying glasses.
We learned many things about plants. We saw that most plants
have leaves, stem, roots and flowers.
We focused more on the leaves and we discovered that there
are many different types of leaves. There are big and small leaves.
They come in many different shapes too. Most of the leaves are green
but there are colourful ones too!
We then went back to class and created a mini booklet in which we
drew some of the leaves we saw. We really enjoyed ourselves.
